The F4 German Championship Certified by the FIA features the latest-generation Tatuus T-421 chassis, combined with a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine prepared by Autotecnica Motori. The championship runs on Pirelli control tyres, ensuring a level playing field and placing the focus firmly on driver talent.
Aerodynamics
The second-generation Tatuus T-421 has been developed to meet the latest FIA Formula 4 regulations. Its extended wheelbase accommodates the Halo cockpit protection system, while revised front and rear aerodynamic components improve overall performance and drivability.
Tyres
The F4 German Championship uses Pirelli P Zero™ racing slick tyres, providing drivers with the same tyre technology used throughout the FIA single-seater ladder. This offers valuable experience and prepares competitors for progression to higher levels of formula racing.
Engine & Gearbox
The Tatuus T-421 is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged engine supplied and prepared by Autotecnica Motori, delivering reliable and consistent performance throughout the season.
Power is transmitted through a six-speed sequential gearbox with paddle shift, allowing fast and precise gear changes while maintaining the high standards expected from modern Formula 4 machinery.
Safety
